Project MOVEMENT - Microsoft 2019 Hackathon Top 5 Winner (Azure/ML/SCOPE/SQL)

Created with the goal of providing an accessible, affordable, and personalized way for just about anyone to improve their day-to-day or even professional motions, form, and path for a wide range of activities.

Project R.I.C.K - University Senior Design Project (Vision AI, G-Code, Kinect API, 6-axis 3D-built robotic arm)

Co-created an all-in-one system that takes input directly from a person’s arm/finger movements from camera sensors to be translated into machine code as output controls for a variety of robotic arms in a rapid and scalable fashion

Project MOVEMENT won my team and me the honor of being selected by Satya Nadella and the board as the top five most innovative hacks of the year among 1000+ projects with a private grant for a full prototype.

Winner of Bose SoundTouch API Challenge

RIT's premiere collegiate hackathon is an event where over 400 hackers try to produce something amazing to wow the judges. For my team and I that was our submission for Bose's SoundTouch API Challenge, SMShuffle.
Now rebranded and refactored, BoseSMShuffle MusicShare.

    Apple ~ Sr. Engineering Program Manager (EPM) for AI/ML

    Core Achievement: Championed the creation and customer acquisition for Kafka as a Service within Apple's largest AIML platform, totaling a savings of over $25 million (70% in compute cost & 40% in storage cost) through tailored instance types, Tiered Storage support, and LDCP simplification

  • April 2020 - September 2022

    Microsoft ~ Techincal Program Manager II

    Core Achievement: Led 4 feature releases for Microsoft's big data engine Cosmos & its language SCOPE that brought tremendous value from 25% reduction in CPU process time, 50% reduction in storage cost, and support for dynamic compressed data formats like ORC, SQL Tables & Parquet

  • February 2018 – April 2020

    Microsoft ~ Techincal Program Manager I

    Core Achievement: Drove company-wide infrastructure improvements totaling over $50 million in savings related to storage optimization, systems monitoring, and a new on-demand token model for Microsoft's largest internal big data engine system, Cosmos, and proprietary language SCOPE

    Intuit ~ Technical Product Manager Intern

    During my time @ Intuit I was responsible in leading cross-functional R&D teams consisting of engineers, designers, researchers, and legal contacts towards new projects focused on machine learning initiatives.

    IDI Billing Solutions ~ Software/Quality Assurance Engineer

    I wear a few hats at my latest co-op with the two mainly being software engineer and quality assurance engineer. As a software engineer, I was tasked to create a complete server interface dashboard (Hal0). As a quality assurance engineer, I was given the lead role for developing and implementing QA processes for multiple projects/platforms primarily web services.

    Rochester Institute of Technology ~ Webmaster

    Employed as the sole manager for the design (front-end/back-end), implementation, and documentation for RIT’s Simone Center. This job is a high privilege as the Simone Center is RIT’s prized gem and for good reason since the center is viewed as a national leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.

  • January 2014 – July 2014

    EnerNoc ~ Software Engineer Intern

    My internship @ EnerNoc involved becoming a part of the Advance Technology Division. The main purpose of this division was to perform hardware and software R&D hence my work on various projects such as PowerTalk (a real-time XMPP communication protocol for communicating with EnerNoc's 15,000+ smart meter devices). Also I worked on an online internal implementation of PowerTalk via web application using Play Framework.

    TranSystems ~ Project Assistant

    Intern position to assist fellow co-workers in projects that dealt indirectly and directly with clients - clients as major as the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
