Experience
Fifteen years building infrastructure at scale
Platform and infrastructure programs — managed streaming, capacity forecasting, and migrations that had to land without anyone noticing.

Daraghmeh Digital LLCFounder & Technical Consultant
Side venture: independent practice delivering digital infrastructure and e-commerce growth for clients across America. Repositioned in 2024 to AI consulting.
- Serve as the technical counterpart for businesses from initial AI strategy to live deployment, cutting through vendor noise to match models to real requirements, shape product roadmaps, and bring enterprise discipline to capacity planning, unit costs, and operational readiness. daraghmehdigital.com

AppleSenior Engineering Program Manager, AI/ML Platform
Core achievement: launched Kafka as a Service, the platform's first managed streaming tier, after identifying the gap and winning a Director-level mandate to build inside Apple's largest AI/ML data platform — owning instance strategy, tiered storage, and onboarding path, cutting compute cost 70% and storage cost 40% for over $25 million in savings.
- Onboarded 10+ first-party product teams such as IS&T, Maps, Search, Siri onto new offerings within Apple AI/ML Data Platform, negotiating requirements, migrations, and sequencing cross-organizations with competing roadmaps and interests.
- Led a 4-quarter migration of 15,000 instances to AWS spanning every dependent partner team, owning risk, dependency, and rollback planning to land zero downtime with full data integrity and feature parity. Over $30 million saved, and licensing dependencies were removed from the platform's critical path.
- Directed a team of engineers through 3 quarters of decommissioning and re-architecture of a cross-organizational data pipeline, cutting operating cost and simplifying downstream deployment to be cloud agnostic without refactoring required from partner teams.

MicrosoftTechnical Program Manager II, Big Data Platform
Core achievement: delivered 4 feature releases for Cosmos, Microsoft's largest internal big data engine, and its SCOPE query language — cutting CPU processing time 25% and storage cost 50%, and adding support for compressed formats including ORC, Parquet, and SQL Tables.
- Shipped an ML-based capacity forecasting and alerting system predicting storage and compute shortfalls years ahead of exhaustion, avoiding $20 million in storage cost and averting 2 mass CPU failures in its first year of deployment.
- Cleared the regulatory path for Microsoft's largest internal data platform through 6 feature production releases, from GDPR annotation support to .NET Core runtime compatibility, keeping sovereign workloads live across Asia, Europe, and the Americas with zero downtime.

MicrosoftTechnical Program Manager I, Big Data Platform
Core achievement: drove company-wide infrastructure programs totaling over $50 million in savings across storage optimization, systems monitoring, and a new on-demand token model for Microsoft's largest internal big data engine, Cosmos, and proprietary language SCOPE.
- Consolidated a decade of fragmented SCOPE documentation and training into a single digital hub serving 50K+ active users, and built the storage/compute dashboards whose insight steered the global rollout of GDPR compliance data centers across Eastern Europe and China.
