During my time @ Intuit I was responsible in leading cross-functional R&D teams consisting of engineers, designers, researchers, and legal contacts towards new projects focused on machine learning initiatives.
I wear a few hats at my latest co-op with the two mainly being software engineer and quality assurance engineer. As a software engineer, I was tasked to create a complete server interface dashboard (Hal0). As a quality assurance engineer, I was given the lead role for developing and implementing QA processes for multiple projects/platforms primarily web services.
Employed as the sole manager for the design (front-end/back-end), implementation, and documentation for RIT’s Simone Center. This job is a high privilege as the Simone Center is RIT’s prized gem and for good reason since the center is viewed as a national leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.
My internship @ EnerNoc involved becoming a part of the Advance Technology Division. The main purpose of this division was to perform hardware and software R&D hence my work on various projects such as PowerTalk (a real-time XMPP communication protocol for communicating with EnerNoc's 15,000+ smart meter devices). Also I worked on an online internal implementation of PowerTalk via web application using Play Framework.
